 Barbara Monahan is the President and Coach of BAM! Coaching, LLC which is located in New Jersey. She values personal growth and enjoys assisting people in reaching their full potential. She is committed to making a difference in her community by volunteering her time and talents to various organizations. "I have found by studying Jesus' life through reading and meditating on scripture that our efforts do not have to be grandiose to make a difference. Jesus took time to take care of worldly needs such as, feeding the hungry and spending time with those in need to get to know them. Then He fed them spiritually through His teachings which physically, mentally and spiritually healed them. We can make a difference in our communities by praying for or spending time with those in need or by sending a letter or card. This opens the door for God to work in their life." Barbara has 25 years of business, management, leadership, team building, organizational and change management experience in the retail, banking, financial services and automotive industries. Corporations that she has worked with include; Inserra Supermarkets, JP MorganChase and BMW. Some of the projects she has accomplished are consolidating operations, start up of a successful financial services company, business process management, hiring, coaching and managing staff, start up of a successful coaching business. Barbara was designated customer focus champion while working with JP MorganChase because she provides high quality customer service to internal and external customers. "I view everyone as my customer and want them to have an excellent experience of the products and services I provide." Barbara is passionate about working with individuals to assist them in reaching their full potential. During her career she has had the privilege of working with talented individuals who she mentored and developed through her natural coaching and managing abilities. Many of these individuals have advanced in their careers. A team member who was promoted stated to Barbara, "You run the most efficient department in the company and I have learned a great deal while working with you." Barbara earned an undergraduate degree in accounting and a masters degree in business administration. She is currently enrolled in the SOC, a coaching school that encourages life long learning and Corporate Coach U. She has successfully passed the certification exam. "Lifelong learning is very important to me. I love to learn about new ideas and concepts and then try them out in my life. It is fun for me and keeps me excited about what each new day will bring." Barbara is a member of Toastmasters International and has earned the Competent Toastmaster designation (CTM). She enjoys delivering high energy, inspiring speeches which leaves the audience inspired, informed and ready to take action. Barbara loves connecting, listening and interacting with people. She has a very positive personality that is contagious. People enjoy being with her and often express that they learn something from their experience of her. She is very open to sharing her gifts with others. "We are all connected and life is about helping each other live the best life that is possible for each of us." Barbara enjoys running and is currently training for the NYC marathon. She enjoys playing with her children. "It is so wonderful to take time to play like a kid and see life from their perspective." She also enjoys spending time with her husband and connecting with him in mind, body, heart and soul. "I am blessed to have him in my life."
