Love and rejection
This
morning after reading scripture I thought about love and asked how do I feel
the love of others in me? I thought of my loved ones, one at a time and thought
about feeling their love for me in me. I didn’t feel anything. Then I thought
about each one of them and thought about the love I felt for them. I felt a
warm, beautiful, peaceful glow in the center of my chest. Hmmm… Love is my
experience. I can not feel the love my family and friends have for me in me.
They feel that love for me within them and I feel the love I have for them in
me.
So,
we will never feel love from an external source because it resides within us.
Not
being accepted by a person does not diminish the love we have within us because
we can still choose to love the person who is rejecting us and thereby feel
that love. Or we can choose not to love them and not feel that love.
We
are in control of the love we feel. Thereby will not feel rejected because we
are choosing to love and accept the person rejecting us and this enables us to
feel love! WAHOOO!!!!
Hey,
what do you think of this? Try it and let me know if it works! Does it help?
WOW,
it has helped me. I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will never feel rejected
again because of the other person’s choice to not love me – they are missing
out because they won’t feel the love that I am feeling because I choose to love
them. It sounds like a tongue/brain twister - sit with it awhile and see if it
works for you.
